She has conducted a yearlong research project on 'Actinomycetes as predators of Bacteria' which was funded by the Jamshetji Tata Trust. She has varied interests- environmental microbiology, natural resource management, sustainable development, urban planning, education and awareness. She is developing an interest in Ornithology and loves photography.
